Christmas Glam – Christmas manicures

Hey everyone!

It’s 2 days until Christmas and I am so excited! In this post I am going to be combining two of my favourite things: nail art and Christmas! There are so many amazing manicures on Pinterest all year round, but especially during Christmas, and I love looking at them! I personally don’t really have the time or patience to do fancy nail art, but I still love looking at it, and I usually go for simpler manicures with Christmas colours! Here are some of my favourite Christmas manicures I’ve found

Christmas Manicures

I really love all of them, they all look so perfect and gorgeous, like I said, I don’t have the time or patience to do most of these, especially not those with snowflakes or holly, so I went for the simplest one, the one on the top left. My recreation of it is right next to it, I couldn’t find the same colours I used Miss Piggy’s Big Number and Happy Anniversary for the ring finger, both from OPI. I think that this manicure would be best for the beginning of december, it’s more winter-y than christmas-y, like all 6 on the left side, the 8 on the right are obviously very festive! I think my favourite is the black and white one with the bows, and the essie bottle. I think it’s so elegant and just christmas-y enough, with the bows, without being too “in your face”. Also, this one could be recreated with red and gold, or red and green instead of black, white and silver if you want it to be really festive!

NOTD: Golden Glam

Hey everyone!

So I went out the other night and I felt like doing a creative and colourful mani that wouldn’t take too long to do, so I looked at my different nail polish colours and picked my favourite bright and glittery ones and started looking for two that went well together. I eventually fell in love with the combination of OPI’s Elephantastic Pink (which I have raved about and love so much) and OPI’s Goldeneye from the James Bond collection. I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to do alternate nails or just an accent ring finger, so I asked my sister and she immediately said the ring finger accent, so I painted all my nail in gold, except for my ring finger which I painted in pink. I got so many compliments on my nails so I felt like I had to show a picture on my blog!

Just a quick general tip for manicures, I love doing all fingers one colour and then the ring finger either a slightly darker/lighter colour and I do that almost all of the time, this was just a bit more out of the box for me because they were both bright colours but it worked out great!

By the way, I am wearing OPI’s Natural Base coat and OPI’s Clear Top Coat…. wow, that’s a lot of OPI!!

Let me know what manicure you’ve been loving recently!

See you in the next post! ♥
